Here I am.

As some of you...no wait, nobody might actually have noticed, but since one ore two weeks I am active on dA again. Not much has changed through the years, same server blackouts, slow loading times, only a few comments on my work ( ) now and then.

But hey, I still think I like being around here. It's fun to browse the community and there is so much art that I like to see. It even gives me some motivation right now to do some photographs on my own. The only problem is that I haven't got any motives that would be worth taking in a picture. I hope I can solve that and present you something nice in the future.

Hello everybody!

I haven't updated my deviantart profile for a long time now. Two explanations for this: First, I didn't really have the time in my first year of university. Second, I am a little bit depressed about the poor features I get when not beeing a paying member, so I don't see why I should investigate any more time in here as I can get almost the same things for free in other communities.

Nevertheless, I check my messages now and then and I am looking forward to seeing the new version of DA.

Today I am not a university, but at home. This is because I have had a nice driving lesson this morning and it absolutely makes no sense sitting 2.5 hours in train just to have an English lesson an then come back to Luxembourg again. I prefer improving my English here on deviantart than in France. I am very sure that here, I learn a lot more, except for the nice accent that makes me laugh everytime I hear it. French people are so cool

If you ask yourself now what all this has to do with the title of my journal entry, please let me explain to you. I have just finished looking through about 200 deviations that were stored in my message center. I have commented on a lot of them, but it has been hard to find some constructive critique for every deviation. I still haven't given any comment on any webdesign, because I don't feel so much creative today. I will do this when I have some more energy and feel more innovative.

For the rest of the past weeks I have been pretty busy at Strasbourg, France. Going to university is still pretty new for me and it will take some time till I get used to the French people and other learning methods. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to a few years of more personal freedom and a lot of things to learn.

Nowadays, there are millions of websites online, but only a minority of them are compatible with all browsers.

My offer to you is to change the source code of your site into such a form that your site will be displayed correctly in all browsers.
I will try to make it conform to the w3.org recommendations.

Be aware that in consequence, your site will be easier to edit as the content will be mostly separated from the design and the loading time of your page will decrease, so that visitors can browse more quickly and the bandwidth usage will be less. That means more visitors that stay longer on your page and less hosting costs.

If you got a nice journal layout, more visitors will add you to their watchlist as you appear more attractive. Do you want an example? Hello everybody!
The last three days have been really stressfully. Although it was pretty easy to sign up at the university, my parents and me have had a lot of work to do find all the stuff you need to live there for five days a week.
My appartment is located in London street. Actually all the streetnames were chosen from big European cities. That's funny, because the whole quarter has the look of a modern, capitalistic Soviet Union. Moreover, there are more deviants at Strasbourg than in Luxembourg. I updated my neighbours in the settings menu and found out that there are more than 220 people within a 100 km of my place.
I invite you all to coming to my new place and having a drink or two. If you want to know where I exactly stay, then please send me a note and we will look for an appointment. If you do not plan to take some fourniture with you, I advise you to travel by public transport. Even if there are some thousand parking lots, only 0.01 percent is available. 50.000 students that nearly all got a car doesn't make it easy to finding a single free lot. You better get here by train and bicycle.

As what is with my dA account, I have ordered 3 calendars. If they are of the same quality than the prints I received, I am going to order another 20 for friends, coaches and atheltics-fanatics. Additionally, I need to order a few big prints to decorate my blank walls. If you got any nice propolsals to make, just post them as a comment. Please be aware though that I am now a poor student. I would rather prefer buying a sub for someone who gives me his prints at a basic price than giving 50 $ for a small print. I hope you can understand this. It would just be a win-win situation for both.
